How many sessions are needed to see results?
To achieve optimal and desired results, it is necessary to undergo at least 3-6 treatments.
-
When can I expect to feel an improvement?
Improvement after treatment may vary depending on the specific health problem being treated and the individual response of the body. However, most patients experience initial results and pain relief after just 1-3 treatments.
-
Why am I not feeling any relief from the pain even after the third treatment?
Improvement after treatment may vary depending on the specific health problem being treated and the individual’s response. Some people need to undergo 4-6 treatments to achieve the desired effect. Pain relief may be gradual, and improvement may only become apparent several days or weeks after therapy. It is also important to follow the physiotherapist’s recommendations, such as rest and appropriate rehabilitation, in order to maximize the effect of the treatment.
-
Can side effects occur after treatment?
Yes, some side effects may occur after treatment, although they are not very common and are usually mild.
After treatment, increased heat, sensitivity, or redness may appear in the treated area, which will subside within a few hours. Sometimes the pain in the treated area may temporarily worsen, but relief will follow. Very rarely, more severe skin irritation or swelling may occur, which will also quickly subside.
In most cases, these side effects disappear within a few days. However, if unusual or persistent symptoms occur, we recommend contacting a physical therapist or doctor. -
Can I visit the sauna or go swimming after the treatment?
After treatment, it is necessary to give the body time to regenerate. Therefore, it is not advisable to expose yourself to extreme heat, such as a sauna, or sudden cooling for several hours after treatment. Heat can increase inflammation or swelling in the treated area. Similarly, cold therapy is not recommended, as it could disrupt the overall regeneration process. It is therefore advisable to wait at least 24 hours before engaging in these activities.
-
Can I go for a massage after therapy?
If it is a massage of a different part of the body than the one that was treated, then the answer is yes. However, if it is the same part of the body that was treated, it is advisable to wait at least 24 hours and choose a gentle, soft, or relaxing massage without direct pressure on the treated area.
-
How long after treatment can I engage in sports activities or manual labor?
After treatment, it is necessary to give the body time to regenerate. Ideally, you should wait 24 hours before engaging in strenuous activities. In case of more severe inflammation or pain, it is advisable to wait 48 hours before engaging in physical activity. Light exercise such as yoga, stretching, or walking is fine and can be done immediately. We recommend postponing strength training and high-intensity training for 3-5 days.
-
Can I undergo treatment during my period?
